Baseball Recap: Archbishop Carroll Comes Up Short

While it was Archbishop Carroll who put the first points on the board on Thursday, it was Coral Gables who put up more. The Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs fell just short of the Coral Gables Cavaliers by a score of 5-4.

Archbishop Carroll saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was BRANDON PIEDRA, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Archbishop Carroll has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season. Coral Gables' record is now 5-9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Carroll will host Coral Shores at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Coral Gables, they will be playing at home against Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
