Football Recap: Seaside Takes a Loss

Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Monterey Dores and fell 42-8. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Monterey, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Seaside will head out on the road to challenge Ann Sobrato at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Monterey, they will be playing at home against Aptos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
