Football Recap: The First Academy Takes a Loss

The First Academy fell victim to St. Frances Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 37-0 defeat at the hands of the Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 45 points in the game before, the Royals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The loss snapped The First Academy's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-3 record. As for St. Frances Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The First Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The St. James Performance Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for St. Frances Academy, they will face off against St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
