Softball Recap: Enterprise Find Success

Enterprise picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Arcata Tigers by a score of 9-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Shelby Hopper looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Enterprise let Maya Hubbs and Carly Graham run wild. Hubbs scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Graham went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Graham a new career-high. Rachel Hess was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Enterprise always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .591. They are 2-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Enterprise's record now sits at 3-4-1. As for Arcata, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Enterprise has already played their next match, a 13-1 defeat against Biggs on the 29th. As for Arcata, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 19-0 victory against Plumas Charter on the 29th.
