Volleyball Recap: Heritage Hills Comes Up Short

Heritage Hills lost against Tecumseh back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots came up short against the Braves, falling 3-0.

Heritage Hills took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.

Mia Becher paced Heritage Hills' offense, picking up 19 kills. Becher got some help from Kendall Seifert and her 35 assists. Seifert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Heritage Hills' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Tecumseh, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Heritage Hills and Tecumseh will both be playing Washington the next time they take the court. The Braves will head out to face the Hatchets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Patriots will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
