Volleyball Recap: Galion Comes Up Short at Home Against Bellevue

Galion unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Bellevue Redmen on Tuesday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redmen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

While Galion was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bellevue's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-21, 27-25.

Bellevue now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Galion will square off against Shelby at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bellevue, they will take on Monroeville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
