Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Poly, Hillcrest was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 62-55 victory over the Arlington Lions. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Lions back in December of 2024, they had to take a 54-42 loss.

The win snapped Hillcrest's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-6 record. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Hillcrest will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Valley View at 6:30 p.m. As for Arlington, they will challenge Rancho Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rancho Christian will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Arlington surely won't give up without a fight.
