While Nordhoff's win against Carpinteria wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rangers had just enough and edged out the Warriors 13-11. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Jade Aguilar spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and eight unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Nordhoff saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Seymour, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Chloe Jackson was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Nordhoff kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.2.

Nordhoff's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Carpinteria, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

Nordhoff has already played their next game, a 7-0 defeat against Foothill Tech on the 7th. Carpinteria does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
