Football Game Preview: South Anchorage Wolverines vs. Dimond Lynx + How To Watch

The South Anchorage Wolverines will venture away from home to face off against the Dimond Lynx at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Anchorage is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

South Anchorage is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Colony, who was ranked 12th at the time (South Anchorage was ranked fourth). The Wolverines strolled past the Knights with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 48-29. The Wolverines' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

South Anchorage didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Austin French led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Kaiden Coleman Arroyo got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Dimond was just a hair shy of victory on Saturday and fell 15-14 to Juneau-Douglas.

Dimond's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for South Anchorage, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Things could have been worse for South Anchorage, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 42-28 loss to Dimond in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
