Lockport entered their tilt with Plainfield Central on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. The Porters have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Lockport easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16.

Lockport found their leader in sophomore Emma Consigny, who had seven digs and two aces. Josephine Baranowski also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Despite the defeat, Plainfield Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Isabella Ricketts had seven digs and two aces.

Lockport's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Plainfield Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Lockport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Joliet West on the 17th. As for Plainfield Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Oswego on the 18th.
