Football Game Recap: Newark Collegiate Academy vs. Glen Ridge

The last time they met, Glen Ridge were the 49-22 winner over Newark Collegiate Academy. This time around? They had no such luck. Glen Ridge took a serious blow against Newark Collegiate Academy on Saturday, falling 11-48. The state rankings had actually given Glen Ridge a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

The defeat dropped Glen Ridge's record to 1-4. The win bumped Newark Collegiate Academy's record up to 3-1.

Glen Ridge will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Hoboken. Newark Collegiate Academy will stay at home against Cedar Grove at 7:00 PM. Unlike Newark Collegiate Academy, Cedar Grove will be limping in after taking a loss.
