Baseball Recap: Sonoma Academy Beats Tomales for Their Fourth Straight Win

While Sonoma Academy put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Tomales. The Coyotes were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Braves. That's two games straight that the Coyotes have won by exactly ten runs.

Noah Proctor was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Sonoma Academy is undefeated when Proctor posts two or more runs, but 0-3 otherwise. Ann Tyko also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Sonoma Academy, bringing their record up to 5-3. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14 runs. As for Tomales, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sonoma Academy will head out to take on Calistoga at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tomales, they will venture away from home to face off against Willits at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
