Basketball Recap: Academy of Our Lady Takes a Loss

Academy of Our Lady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Willow Lions and fell 47-14. The Penguins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-5.

Academy of Our Lady's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Willow, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Academy of Our Lady will head out to square off against St. Mary's Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Willow, they will head out on the road to take on Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
