Monticello had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 24-point drubbing they dealt Dove Creek on Friday. The Monticello Buckaroo were the clear victor by a 57-33 margin over the Dove Creek Bulldogs. The Buckaroo have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season.

Monticello has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
