Soccer Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee lost against Barbers Hill back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lee Ganders lost 7-0 to the Barbers Hill Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Ganders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 627th, while the Eagles are ranked 138th).

Lee's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Barbers Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Lee will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against West Brook at 7:00 p.m. As for Barbers Hill, they will head out on the road to challenge Beaumont United at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Barbers Hill's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Beaumont United's offense will have their work cut out for them.
