Volleyball Recap: Westland Hialeah Comes Up Short

Westland Hialeah lost against Hialeah back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Thoroughbreds.

Westland Hialeah may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Westland Hialeah has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Hialeah, their victory ended a ten-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. After both having extra time off, Westland Hialeah and Miami Springs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hialeah, they will head out to challenge Norland at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
