If Berne Union wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Worthington Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Jack Smolenski. The Warriors really took it to the Rockets for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-21 victory thanks in part to Smolenski, who picked up 152 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 68 yards.

Worthington Christian picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Berne Union, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Worthington Christian is taking a road trip to take on Grandview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats' defense has only allowed eight points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Berne Union, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Grove City Christian at 7:00 p.m. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight.
