Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Padua Franciscan). They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs on Thursday. For the Bruins, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Padua Franciscan is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Olmsted Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Padua Franciscan will take on Chaney in a tournament on Thursday. As for Olmsted Falls, they will face off against Brookside at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
