Highland Tech has gone 8-1-1 against Burns recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Rams will square off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Burns will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Highland Tech extended their winning streak to four on Monday. The Rams' defense stepped up to hand Stuart W. Cramer a 9-0 shutout. Given Highland Tech's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 156th, while Stuart W. Cramer are ranked 536th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Burns made easy work of Bessemer City on Monday and carried off a 5-0 win.

Burns' victory bumped their record up to 13-2-2. As for Highland Tech, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.

Highland Tech was able to grind out a solid victory over Burns in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
