Recap: Spotsylvania Knights vs. Caroline Cavaliers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Culpeper County, the Spotsylvania Knights were happy to have found some success on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Caroline 41-38. For Spotsylvania, this counts as revenge for the 47-40 loss Caroline walked away with the last time they faced one another on January 2nd.
It was another big night for KELLY ROSS, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played.
Spotsylvania's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Caroline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Eastern View the next time they take the court. Caroline will head out to face Eastern View at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while Spotsylvania will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
