Softball Recap: South Caldwell Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

South Caldwell never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Watauga Pioneers by a score of 4-0. The Spartans' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

South Caldwell pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Watauga, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Caldwell will welcome High Point Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Watauga, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Draughn at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Draughn is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.6 runs per game this season.
