Football Recap: Henry Lamar Brooks Jr's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cy-Fair over Dickinson + How To Watch

After flying high against Cypress Park last Saturday, Cy-Fair came back down to earth. The Bobcats took a hard 35-21 fall against the Dickinson Gators on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Gators are ranked 31st).

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Henry Lamar Brooks Jr, who picked up 98 receiving yards and one TD.

Cy-Fair's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Dickinson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Cy-Fair and Dickinson will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bobcats will take on rival Cypress Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th. Meanwhile, Dickinson is set to challenge their familiar foe Clear Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
