Volleyball Recap: Browne Extends Winning Streak to Three

Browne waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Cesar Chavez Champions by a score of 3-1. The Bruins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Champions, too.

Browne was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 24-26, 25-19.

Diego Ortiz paced Browne's offense, picking up 13 kills. Ortiz got some help from Isaac Adrian Dominguez and his 27 assists. Adrian Dominguez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Browne's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Cesar Chavez, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Browne has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Camelback on the 22nd. As for Cesar Chavez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Maryvale on the 22nd.
