Volleyball Game Preview: Rainier Columbians vs. Banks Braves

The Rainier Columbians will head out on the road to challenge the Banks Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Rainier got the win against Yamhill-Carlton by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Columbians in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Banks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Riverdale 3-0.

Rainier's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Banks, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

Rainier suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Banks in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Columbians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
