Basketball Recap: Ritchie County Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Ritchie County had won two straight road games and Elsa Law did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Ritchie County Rebels put the hurt on the Tyler Knights with a sharp 63-39 victory thanks in part to Law, who dropped a triple-double on 22 points, 14 boards, and ten steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game.

Ava Satterfield was another key player, putting up two points and seven boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (three).

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jules Lattea, who posted six points along with 14 rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Katie Grimm, who scored nine points and five assists.

Ritchie County's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Tyler, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Ritchie County has already played their next match (against Williamstown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tyler has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Magnolia.
