Volleyball Recap: Hillsboro Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against East Dayton Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ross County Christian Academy, Hillsboro Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on East Dayton Christian with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

One reason for the win was Hillsboro Christian Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-14, 25-11.

Titus Howsman paced Hillsboro Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Howsman got some help from Abe Dockins and his 20 assists. Colton Boggess controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Hillsboro Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for East Dayton Christian, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsboro Christian Academy will face off against CHESS Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Royals will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Dayton Christian, they will take on Spring Valley Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
