Volleyball Recap: Great Falls Wins Going Away Against Columbia

The Great Falls Red Devils made easy work of the Columbia Capitals on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Great Falls' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-7.

Emily Manning was nothing short of spectacular: she had 14 aces and 12 assists. Those 14 aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenslee Powers, who had five assists and four aces.

Great Falls' victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Great Falls will welcome Chester at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia, they will square off against Lower Richland at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
