Basketball Recap: Marana Tigers vs. Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks
After flying high against Amphitheater last Thursday, Marana came back down to earth. The Marana Tigers fell 65-58 to the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Nighthawks: they've now lost four in a row.
Ironwood Ridge was led to victory by Carter Brown and Lucas Anderson. Brown posted 21 points and seven boards, while Anderson earned 18 points and seven rebounds. Brown's evening made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Holthaus, who put up six points and five rebounds.
