Flag Football Recap: Village Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Village Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 38-6 loss at the hands of the Notre Dame (SO) Knights. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 675th, while the Knights are ranked 103rd).

Village Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Notre Dame (SO), the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Village Christian will take on rival Bishop Alemany at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Notre Dame (SO) is set to square off against their familiar foe Brentwood School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Knights 8.5, the Eagles 11.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
