Basketball Recap: Chattahoochee Comes Up Short

Chattahoochee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Milton Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly three points.

Chattahoochee's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Milton, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Chattahoochee and Mount Vernon will compete for holiday cheer at 11:30 a.m. on December 21st. As for Milton, they and Norcross will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
