Volleyball Recap: New Lisbon Takes a Loss

New Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Necedah Cardinals. The Rockets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

While New Lisbon ultimately came up short, they really made Necedah work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 26-24.

Brooklyn Lowe paced New Lisbon's offense, picking up ten kills. Lowe got some help from Bristol Dummer and her ten assists.

New Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Necedah, with the win, they broke their eight-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-20.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. New Lisbon will challenge rival Wonewoc-Center at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Necedah is set to take on their familiar foe Royall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
