Volleyball Game Preview: Colony Titans vs. Covina Colts

The Colony Titans will take on the Covina Colts at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Colony came up short against Alta Loma and fell 3-1.

Colony started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-14, 25-15, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Covina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to West Covina.

Covina was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-14.

Colony has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. Covina's loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
