Football Recap: Warren County Falls Short of Kettle Run in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Warren County and Kettle Run squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Warren County had to settle for second. They were dealt a 63-9 loss at the hands of the Cougars. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Kettle Run's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jonathan Taylor led the charge by rushing for 104 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. Taylor's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Carter Lubbe was in the mix too, providing Kettle Run with two scores.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Kettle Run, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

As of now, neither Warren County nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
