Softball Recap: Nuview Bridge Comes Up Short

Nuview Bridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 27-2 to the Santa Rosa Academy Rangers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

Breanna Pacheco was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Julia Gama also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Nuview Bridge's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Santa Rosa Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Nuview Bridge and Santa Rosa Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Knights see the field they'll take on Desert Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on the 28th. As for Santa Rosa Academy, their break will end when they face Temecula Prep at 3:15 p.m. on the 22nd.
