Volleyball Game Preview: Manteo Redskins vs. Perquimans Pirates + How To Watch

Manteo hasn't had much luck against Perquimans recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Redskins will head out on the road to challenge the Pirates at 6:00 p.m.

Manteo lost 3-0 to Holmes on Thursday.

Manteo was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Holmes work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 28-26, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Perquimans entered their tilt with Holmes on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Aces 3-0.

Perquimans never let Holmes on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 26-24.

Manteo's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Perquimans, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3.

Manteo suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Perquimans when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can the Redskins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
