Basketball Game Preview: Berea-Midpark Titans vs. Shaw Cardinals

The Berea-Midpark Titans will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Shaw Cardinals at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Shaw took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Berea-Midpark, who comes in off a win.

Berea-Midpark is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Ursuline. The Titans took down the Fighting Irish 55-41 on Saturday. The Titans pushed the score to 39-15 by the end of the third, a deficit the Fighting Irish cut but never quite recovered from.

Regan Braaten was a one-woman wrecking crew as she dropped a double-double with 27 points and 19 boards. Another player making a difference was Lexi Hall, who posted three points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Shaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Richmond Heights and fell 50-4.
