Baseball Recap: Terra Linda Comes Up Short

Terra Linda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Piner Prospectors. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Prospectors earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Kelley Fouts was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Hayden Biesiadecki also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Terra Linda's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Piner, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-11.

Terra Linda has already played their next game, an 11-2 loss against San Marin on the 22nd. As for Piner, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 defeat against Analy on the 23rd.
