Central Missouri HomeSchool will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Christian Fellowship extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. Christian Fellowship put the hurt on Higbee with a sharp 13-3 victory.

Jack Papineau and Carson File were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Papineau struck out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Meanwhile, File tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those six strikeouts gave Papineau a new career-high. At the plate, Papineau went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while File went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. File has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carson Crockett, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Christian Fellowship is 2-1 when Crockett posts two or more runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Dain Bowlby was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Christian Fellowship kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Central Missouri HomeSchool came up short against Plaza Heights Christian Academy last Tuesday and fell 12-9. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Christian Fellowship's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Central Missouri HomeSchool, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Christian Fellowship took their win against Central Missouri HomeSchool in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 20-5 score. Will Christian Fellowship repeat their success, or does Central Missouri HomeSchool has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
