Recap: Lincoln Leopards vs. Little River Redskins
The Lincoln Leopards couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Little River by a score of 54-51. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lincoln in their matchups with Little River: they've now lost six in a row.
Little River found their leader in underclassman Jaxson Konen, who scored 16 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Renken, who scored 20 points.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Little River, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Little River, they will take on Burrton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
