Soccer Game Preview: La Jolla vs. Coronado

The La Jolla Vikings will take on the Coronado Islanders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. La Jolla's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Thursday, La Jolla and Madison finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coronado). Their defense stepped up to hand Crawford a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. The score was close at the half, but the Islanders pulled away in the second half with four goals.

La Jolla's draw makes their record 3-5-8 this season. As for Coronado, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-4.
