Florence's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 17-11 margin over the Woodland Park Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Addison Dalton made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and eight unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts every time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.

In other batting news, Florence got a massive performance out of Lilly Roe, who went 2-for-6 with five RBI, two runs, and two runs. Florence will be playing in front of their home fans against Canon City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Florence is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.5 runs per game this season. As for Woodland Park, they will venture away from home to take on Arvada at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
