Volleyball Recap: Lancaster Christian Academy's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Lancaster Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since September 21, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Tennessee Heat, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Knights seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-8, 25-15.

Abigail Geerts paced Lancaster Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Geerts were helped by Jaelyn Wilkerson and Yadira Montalvo, who contributed five assists each. Finally, Wilkerson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Lancaster Christian Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Tennessee Heat, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Lancaster Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against KIPP Nashville Collegiate on the 15th. As for Tennessee Heat, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Franklin Classical School at 6:30 p.m.
