Soccer Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson and San Benito squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Johnson had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time Johnson couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-3. As for San Benito, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6-1.

Johnson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Benito, they will square off against Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Benito's defense better be ready for this one: Reagan have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season.
