Recap: Peddie Falcons vs. Hun Raiders
The Peddie Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 58-25 loss at the hands of Hun. Peddie has struggled against Hun recently, as their match on Wednesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Hun found their leader in underclassman Gabby D'Agostino, who scored 20 points along with seven assists and four steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which D'Agostino has scored at least a third of Hun's points. Another player making a difference was Amira Pinkett, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Peddie bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.6 points per game. As for Hun, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
Peddie will be playing at home against Kimberton Waldorf at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hun on the road again on Tuesday and play against Blair Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
