Recap: Power Center Academy Knights vs. Overton Wolverines
On Thursday, Power Center Academy took a serious blow against Overton, falling 54-11. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Power Center Academy has scored all season.
Overton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kierra Baldwin, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Alexandria Clemmons, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Power Center Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Overton, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Power Center Academy will be staying on the road on January 5, 2024 to face off against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Overton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on White Station at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
