Basketball Recap: Osceola Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Hollins came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Osceola, but Talon Brooks wouldn't allow it. The Osceola Warriors breezed by the Hollins Royals to the tune of 74-45 on Friday thanks in part to Brooks, who went 7 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game.

Osceola pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Hollins, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Osceola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-31 victory against St. Petersburg Catholic on the 21st. Hollins has also already played their next contest, a 70-34 defeat against Gibbs on the 21st.
