Softball Recap: Lehigh Comes Up Short

If Lehigh was feeling good fresh off their 20-4 takedown of Island Coast last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lehigh Lightning lost 18-1 to the Estero Wildcats on Friday. The Lightning have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Lehigh now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Estero, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lehigh will host Dunbar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lehigh is facing Dunbar at the right time seeing as Dunbar is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Estero, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverdale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
