Concord Christian Academy extends home winning streak to four

Recap: Concord Christian Academy Minutemen vs. Fairwinds Christian Knights

The Concord Christian Academy Minutemen waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They pulled ahead with a 46-45 photo finish over Fairwinds Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Concord Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

Concord Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Carlin Hollis - Homeschool, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hollis - Homeschool has scored at least a third of Concord Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Keavon Bailey - Homeschool, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaiden Rajis, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Rajis hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Solomon Mccloud HS, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.

Concord Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Fairwinds Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord Christian Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome Calvary Christian Academy at 6:15 p.m. on January 25th. Calvary Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for Fairwinds Christian, they will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
