Recap: International Christian Titans vs. Girard College Cavaliers
This season hasn't been kind to the International Christian Titans, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They were outmatched by Girard College on the road and fell 55-13. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points International Christian has scored all season.
Girard College's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Antoine Seals, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. The contest was Seals' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Curtis, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
International Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Girard College, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.
International Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kohelet Yeshiva at 4:30 p.m. on January 25th. As for Girard College, they will head out on the road to face off against Academy Park at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Academy Park is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
