Softball Recap: Broomfield Eagles vs. Mead Mavericks
Broomfield put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Mead Mavericks onto the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by eight runs or more this season.

At the plate, Kiley Wheaton was a standout: she went 1-for-1 with two runs, a triple, and a stolen base. Another player making a difference was Ireland Heer, who went 2-for-2 with a triple, two RBI, and a run.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Broomfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mead only posted an OBP of .100.
